Prepare for 11th Grade

It is important that you think about the classes you'll be taking in your 11th grade year. The more challenging classes you take in high school the more choices you will have after graduation for scholarships, colleges and career opportunities. Please speak with your high school counselor, teacher, and/or parent to help you map out a plan before you register for your classes. Below is a sample course schedule:

 

English

1 credit of English Arts

 

Math

1 credit of Math - recommended courses include: Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry

 

Science

1 credit of Science - recommended courses include: Biology, Chemistry, Physics

 

Social Studies

1 credit of Social Studies - recommended courses include: Modern History of Hawai'i and Participation in Democracy

 

PE & Health

1 credit of approved Elective Class

 

World Language, Fine Arts, or CTE Classes

1 credit of approved World Language, Fine Arts, or CTE Class

 

A Personal Transition Plan

Continue to work on Personal Transition Plan and Senior Project
