The Board of Education Step Up Diploma

The Board of Education (BOE) Step Up Diploma will help you succeed after high school.

  • If you are graduating with the Class of 2013 or after, you can choose to step up and prepare yourself for success after high school - whether you decide to go to college, go into the military, or go to work – by earning the BOE Step Up Diploma.
  • When you graduate with the BOE Step Up Diploma, you are eligible for more choices and opportunities for colleges and scholarships than if you graduate with the regular diploma.

The courses above are in addition to other high school diploma requirements. For more information on the BOE Step Up Diploma, go to this website: http://graduation.k12.hi.us. Click on “Graduation Requirements for the class of 2013” at the bottom of the page.
