Step Up!

The Board of Education "Step Up" Recognition Diploma

Making the right choice in the 9th grade by stepping up to earn the Board of Education (BOE) "Step Up" Recognition Diploma will help you succeed after high school.

  • If you are graduating with the Class of 2013 or after, you can choose to step up and prepare yourself for success after high school - whether you decide to go to college, go into the military, or go to work – by earning the BOE "Step Up" Recognition Diploma.
  • When you graduate with the BOE "Step Up" Recognition Diploma, you are rewarded with more choices and opportunities for colleges and scholarships than if you graduate with the regular diploma.
