How can YOU as an educator help our students "Step Up"?
-
Set high expectations for your students and encourage them to take challenging classes and prepare for life after high school.
-
If your students will graduate in 2014 or 2015, encourage them to earn the BOE Step Up Diploma and complete a pledge form for Project Step Up and become a Step Up Scholar.
-
Incorporate the Step Up message into existing initiatives at your school, such as Personal Transition Plans (PTP), School Academies, Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID) and Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.
